I have a Masters in Green Chemistry, Energy & the Environment at Imperial College London where I achieved a Distinction. Additionally, I have two years industrial experience in the chemical sciences industry and have graduated from the University of Leeds in Chemistry (Class I). During my time at Leeds University, I have had the pleasure in providing my knowledge and guidance to provide support for younger students in order for them to achieve their goals and ambitions. From this I started to provide tuition in the local area and have thoroughly enjoyed it since.

I have a huge passion for science and love to share this enthusiasm with my students!

In the tuition I offer I am able to make learning interactive, fun and enjoyable. The sessions I provide are tailored to how best the student learns and engages with the content. I will work with the student to quickly identify on how to build on their strengths and to also work on their weaknesses within the subject area.

I aim to explain the core concepts covered in the subject area with clarity and in a way that correlates to marks in an exam. We will look at questions and answers to highlight the standard that is required to achieve the targets set. This will then lead onto focusing on exam technique in order to maximise results.

I like to use a variety of resources such as text books, exam style questions, digital and visual aids.

To succeed in Chemistry & Biology a student needs the knowledge and understanding of the content but equally exam technique is important to provide clear and focused answers. The attention to detail is key and I ensure to regularly work on past exam questions in parallel with recent topic areas. I am able to provide a study plan for the student and provide an insight in how to aid the students revision.

I take a huge amount of pride in the quality of tuition that I can provide and will work towards making this an engaging and rewarding experience for the student.

I take great care in the environment and immerse myself in exploring the outdoors and the welfare with our planet. I volunteer and contribute towards charities in this area.

I am an active individual who frequently spends time playing a variety of sports which includes football and tennis.
