Established in 2007, Keystone Tutors is one of the UK’s leading private tutoring organisations. With offices in London, Hong Kong and Singapore, we work with a range of specialist tutors who can assist students with A Level Latin. Michael studied Classics at Oxford and subsequently completed his MA in Comparative Literature at UCL. He has led numerous Keystone courses as well as supporting over 140 Keystone families. Outside of tutoring, Michael is a keen writer and a thespian at heart.

Olly is an Oxford graduate and experienced tutor. He has a real passion for teaching as well as for writing, theatre and sport. Olly has taught over 5,500 hours with Keystone.

Keren
Keren is an Oxford University graduate and qualified teacher with a wealth of tutoring experience. She joined Keystone in 2009 and has taught over 3,800 hours. Keren specialises in teaching Classics and English to all ages as well as 11+/13+ English and Maths.

James is an experienced tutor with a PhD in English and a Classics degree from Cambridge. James understands the importance of building strong relationships in order for his students to get the most out of his lessons. He has taught over 3,800 hours helping around 130 students.
Sebastian
Sebastian is an Oxford graduate who teaches a variety of subjects across the age range. He has many years of teaching and tutoring experience and believes in inspiring his students and helping them to become independent learners.

John is a Politics and Classical Civilisation tutor with a passion for learning and an impressive academic background. He encourages his tutees to become 'active learners' and to steer away from 'parrot-like' approaches to studying.
Tommaso Alessandro
Tommaso teaches English, History, Italian, Psychology, Philosophy and RS across the age range. He also helps with Maths at 11+ and 13+. He has been tutoring alongside his studies for the past 5 years.
Julia
Julia is a highly experienced teacher, who was Head of Classics at a top London prep school for over 10 years before joining Keystone. She teaches English, French, Latin and Greek. Julia has a patient and nurturing approach, which allows her students to gain confidence in their studies.

How our A Level Latin tutoring works
Keystone has a range of specialist tutors who can assist students approaching A Level Latin. The Latin tutors we work with have a thorough knowledge of the various exam boards and can assist students approaching A Levels and university admissions for including the Classics Admissions Test for Oxbridge.
Many of the Latin tutors we match with students are current or former teachers and have studied Classics at top universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
All tutoring is tailored to the individual needs of each child based on their strengths, areas of development, learning style and their subject exam board.
We can help to improve exam performance by making use of past papers, reinforcing core learning, developing revision techniques, and helping students to push the boundaries of their knowledge of Latin through super curricular learning. We also work with students who are looking to building their subject confidence in Latin.

The Latin tutors we represent are able to deliver in-person tuition within central London. For those outside of central London we offer online tutoring.
The Latin tutors we represent are well versed in delivering online tuition, using videoconferencing and an interactive whiteboard. This gives students, wherever they are in the world, access to experienced, high quality tutors who are familiar with the requirements of A Level Latin.
We have a monthly reporting system which is used to update parents on an ongoing basis. The monthly report details:
- the focus of that month’s tutoring
- the form of assessment used
- the student's achievements and areas for further work
- the focus for the coming month
The regular, rigorous reporting of the tutors we represent is frequently commended by parents.
