How our Philosophy Test tutoring works
The Philosophy Test is designed to be challenging for applicants. The key skills admissions tutors are critical analysis, inference, argumentation, evaluation, and conciseness. The tutors we represent can help your child refine their logical and critical thinking skills, and develop their ability to respond to philosophical questions and concepts, and communicate their thoughts and arguments about them clearly.
They can take your child through practice papers to familiarise them with the time pressure and challenging nature of this exam. They can provide detailed feedback on their practice essays, and focus on developing areas of strength and reinforcing those areas which your child finds challenging.

The Philosophy Test is an exam used by Oxford University as part of their assessment process for candidates applying to study Philosophy and Theology.
The Philosophy Test is a 60 minute exam consisting of 2 sections, both of which involve extensive written responses to questions designed to test a candidate’s critical analysis, inference, argumentation, evaluation, and conciseness.

Yes. Our Philosophy Test tutors are able to deliver in-person tuition in London. For those outside of central London we offer online tutoring.
The Philosophy Test tutors we represent are well versed in delivering online tuition, using videoconferencing and an interactive whiteboard. This gives students, wherever they are in the world, access to experienced, high quality tutors who are familiar with the requirements of the Philosophy Test and interviews.
We have a monthly reporting system which is used to update parents on an ongoing basis. The monthly report details:
