Burgess Hill Girls School faced a challenge when managing a short term unplanned absence of specialist teachers which left them short for their A Level Chemistry and German Year 9-Year 13 classes.
The school needed a flexible, high quality solution that could provide short term cover for those A Level and GCSE classes. They also wanted to ensure continuity for their students and minimise any potential disruption to the students' learning experience.
Burgess Hill contacted Keystone to help in sourcing some short-term cover for Chemistry and German. The school provided the Schemes of Work and Keystone sourced experienced German and Chemistry tutors who were able to fit into their current timetable and adhere to their homework and reporting schedule. Our tutors were able to adapt to the needs of each class, ensuring that the curriculum was delivered effectively and with minimal disruption to the students learning.
The flexible nature of the short-term tutoring that Keystone provides allowed the school to tailor the support duration to their specific requirements.
“Both Alex and Keerti provided excellent, engaging, online tuition for the students, winning their confidence and ensuring they made good progress. I would turn to Keystone again to cover a similar kind of unplanned absence.”
