I am a Scottish, 38 year old, Theoretical Physics MSc graduate from Imperial College London. I have a law degree too - I worked as a lawyer for 5 years but it was never my passion so I went back to spend time with the subjects I love. I have gained 9 years experience as a Maths and physics tutor. Being naturally good at Maths is a great gift and I love passing this passion onto the children.

Each student is different and there is always a way to engage them in these great subjects. I assess how the kids learn best in the first few sessions so I can tailor my style to ensure maximum progress for them. I am confident when communicating with others, I am lively when presenting to a group or teaching a class, and I am attentive and influential when working with my students. My personality and diverse skill set make me an exceptional tutor.

I play golf and in the local tennis leagues. Although it's mostly for fun I obviously like to be extremely competitive! Other interests include coffee, cats, golf and whisky. I have a ragdoll cat called Mr Biscoff you're likely to see him lounging around in the background on the zoom calls.
