Hello, I'm Manfred, born in Caracas, Venezuela, to a Venezuelan mother and a German father.

During my engineering studies, I had an eye-opening experience working as a tutor at an academic centre that prepared students for university entrance exams. At this centre, I discovered the transformative power that tutoring can have on students. I witnessed my students becoming more confident, addressing knowledge gaps, finding happiness, and ultimately becoming better versions of themselves. I also realized I possessed a natural talent for explaining complex concepts and facilitating effective learning.

After completing my engineering degree, I embarked on a successful career as a Mechanical Design Engineer for a world-renowned tunnel construction machinery manufacturer in Germany, gaining valuable expertise in the field.

Music has been an integral part of my life, and I have been playing the guitar since childhood. Following a year-long sabbatical, I made a pivotal decision to move to London to pursue my passion for music. Graduating with a First-Class Honors Bachelor's Degree in Popular Music Performance from the University of West London marked a significant milestone in my musical journey.

Throughout my studies in London, I have actively served as a private tutor in various subjects, accumulating over 3000 hours of invaluable teaching experience. Guiding and preparing students for their GCSE/IGCSE, A-Level, and IB exams has been truly rewarding. Additionally, I have taken on the responsibility of home education for some of my students and have imparted guitar and music theory lessons, witnessing their skills flourish and their passion for music soar.

My diverse range of experiences, from Engineering to tutoring in Maths and Music, coupled with my background in performing, have shaped my exceptional ability to communicate and connect with students. This has been instrumental in the successful development of my outstanding and professional tutoring service.

I take immense pride in empowering my students to achieve their full potential academically. My tutoring journey is driven by the belief that education is a transformative force, and I am dedicated to making a positive impact on each student's life.

I love playing sport (football, tennis, volleyball) and fitness in general. I also love diving (I was a dive master for 4 months in Indonesia!), hiking, climbing mountains, snowboarding, or simply being in nature!
