Although I only formally began tutoring in 2023, I have much experience teaching GCSE and A level courses to friends and family. I am particularly familiar with the Pearson Edexcel GCSE and A-level Maths syllabuses, which I have taught to multiple students, as well as the Edexcel iGCSE Physics syllabus. I also have experience tutoring Maths to a student with dyscalculia who was resitting Foundation Maths GCSE after he failed to pass in year 11. In the year that I tutored him, he passed foundation maths with the top grade.
I am comfortable teaching both in-person and online lessons, and I am acutely aware of the pros and cons to online/blended learning, since the majority of my degree took place during the Covid pandemic.
My master's programme dived specifically into the fluid mechanics that govern the motion of 2-dimensional sheets subject to flows. I successfully simulated physics that had not previously been achieved, scoring over 80% for my project. With the study of fluids came the necessity to familiarise myself with programming, since a computer’s ability to perform rapid iteration is an essential tool in the field of fluid mechanics.
