Course Description
Designed by experienced Keystone tutors, this 'Study Skills' course is designed to aid students in their revision, note-taking, timetabling and general organisation when studying for exams. This course will give to students both the skills and confidence to revise and work alone and will be especially useful to students who will be revising, taking examinations, or simply working independently in the future.
This course is 3.5 hours long, with around 30 minutes of break time. Each hour will cover a separate topic.
Hour 1: Planning.
Hour 2: Revision.
Hour 3: Exam skills.
Michael studied Classics at Oxford and subsequently completed his MA in Comparative Literature at UCL. He has led numerous Keystone courses as well as supporting over 70 Keystone families. Outside of tutoring, Michael is a keen writer and a thespian at heart.
- Maximum Class Size: We teach in groups of no more than 10 with the average number in our classes being 5
- Platform: Lessons will take place on Zoom, which is free and straightforward for students to use. A link will be sent out ahead of the course start date. Take a look at this video to see our online teaching in action.
- Age Group: Year 6, 7 and 8
