I went to Cheltenham College, followed by St. Andrews University in Scotland. After graduating with a 2:1 in Zoology I embarked on a Secondary Science PGCE at Oxford University. Upon achieving QTS status I taught Science and A Level Biology at a state comprehensive academy in Oxfordshire before moving to Keystone to take up the role of Director of Education at Keystone Tutors.

I believe in tailoring my approach to the needs of the individual. It is important in the first instance to identify areas of strength and weakness. From this starting point it is possible to put into place a plan to build confidence as well as ensure academic development. Forging a strong and effective working relationship is integral to this process.

When I am not working I try to play as much sport as possible, in particular skiing, rugby, hockey and cricket. I have been lucky enough to gather extensive experience in both playing and coaching sport at a high level and use a lot of coaching theory in my teaching.
