I started my tutoring career during my MA and PhD at UCL, focusing especially on the humanities (e.g. Psychology, Philosophy, History, R.S., Classical Civilisation). Over the years, I have tutored a great number of students in these subjects, at all levels, from complete beginners to students successfully being admitted into Russel Group universities and Oxbridge. Due to my parallel background in psychotherapy, I have also worked with many students with SEN (Special Educational Needs, such as Dyslexia and ADHD).

I was born and raised in Northern Italy, Milan, where I spent most of my childhood. During my youth, I have played football professionally for several years, before completing a BA in Literature and Philosophy at the Catholic University of Milan. At 23, I moved to London, where I obtained an MA and a PhD at UCL, whilst intensively working as an academic and tutor as well as completing a clinical training as a psychotherapist.
Approach to Tutoring
My tutoring approach is based on my commitment to understand the specific needs of each student and build on the special rapport that can be established between tutor and student in the course of each session. I am fascinated by the psychology of tutoring and I employ a variety of learning and coaching strategies that help my students achieve their maximum potential. I am firmly convinced that tutoring creates a level of support and trust which can be more stimulating and effective than any other learning environment. My tutoring style is energetic and engaging, yet patient and encouraging when needed.
When not tutoring
I love sports of all kinds, especially skiing, cycling and rock climbing.
