My academic career began in the North West of England where I achieved straight A's and A*'s at GCSE. I took my A levels at Sir John Deanes Sixth Form college in Biology, Chemistry and English Literature achieving A's in each.

I studied as an undergraduate of Law at the University of Leeds achieving a high 2:1. Following on from this I commenced a Masters of International Law at the University of Leeds achieving a distinction mark with commendations from professors whilst tutoring part time. Since then I have travelled South America, one highlight being the teaching of English to an Indigenous community in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

I am a driven, empathetic and intellectually curious individual who wishes to contribute to the education system that I have been lucky enough to benefit from. In the form of tutoring, I believe I am positioned well to fulfil this aspiration.

Having tutored a diverse range of students of different ages, backgrounds and intellectual interests, when it comes to tutoring, I have developed a personal approach of flexibility, empathy and patience. I believe it is crucial that each student is respected as an individual, with unique skills, knowledge and interests. It is therefore my job to adapt to each and every student, tailoring my teaching style accordingly. I have a propensity for nurturing intellectual curiosity within my students as a result of this ethos. The utilisation of a multitude of teaching techniques coupled with my dynamic and holistic outlook on learning has allowed my students to excel in their academic careers, not only surpassing target grades, but thoroughly enjoying the process of development.

I am currently working part time at the Curzon Soho alongside my tutoring. In the time I set aside for recreational activities I work on my record label and climb, both indoor and out enjoying the problem-solving aspect of the sport. I am an avid reader and occasionally write creatively.
