I started by working as an Art Teacher and Teaching Assistant in a Preparatory school in Hampstead.

Realising how much I loved working with children, I did my teacher training, and I have worked in mainstream primary state schools for the past 9 years as a qualified primary school teacher in Hackney and Newham primary schools in London.

I was the Specialist Leader of Education for Primary Art across the Hackney teaching schools Alliance (14 schools in the borough), and I have been the subject lead for Maths and Art at my most recent school. I have also been the subject lead for History, Geography and Art in my base schools.

I have most recently worked at a special educational needs school in Newham as a qualified SENCo - advising teachers on outstanding teaching and learning practice. I previously taught in the classroom in an Ofsted graded outstanding school in Hackney.

I have a great depth of experience in primary education, I am very passionate about it and having an impact on young people's lives, so that they can thrive.

I am an enthusiastic, warm and experienced, outstanding primary school teacher and specialist leader for education. I have been teaching for 10 years now and tutoring for 7.

I work with children with a huge range of abilities and have worked with them to support and develop their learning, skills and knowledge. I am a very passionate and hard working and diligent teacher. I have a reputation for accelerating children's progress and spreading an enthusiasm for and love of learning, through fun and engaging lessons, tailored to meet my students' interests.

I love building those very rewarding working relationships with my students and creating learning which will excite and engage them, and then getting to watch them progress and feel that pride in themselves, when they realise how far they've come! That's a very special thing to be able to contribute towards.

I am a very curious person, I love learning and finding out about random and new things - for example, I am learning German, and I have set myself the target of being fluent within a year!

I am also very active, I love the outdoors, gardening, I have an allotment, and I do a lot of sport like rope climbing, bouldering, swimming, walking, cycling, yoga and I have also started to do Jiu-jitsu!

I adore music, art, going to concerts and seeing all my lovely friends.
