I studied for two degrees at King's College, London - BA War Studies and MSc War & Psychiatry. Since university, I have taught at three leading British independent schools: Brentwood School, Wellington College and Cranleigh School.

Having now left teaching, I am a full-time tutor. My tutoring experience stretches over eight years and has seen me support pupils across the UK from the independent and state sectors, as well as travel around the world as part of residential positions, including to Switzerland and Latvia. Much of my time involves supporting pupils with their study of History and Politics across different qualifications, all exam boards and various levels.

Based on my teaching experience, my work now also increasingly includes thoroughly preparing pupils for entry to Britain's leading independent schools. I have also home schooled pupils in the event that they have left school or are in the process of transferring from one school to another.

I believe that education can be measured by what we remember after we have forgotten everything else. In this sense, it is important, yes, that pupils are prepared to excel in their academic exams, but also that they are thoroughly set up to enter the world after leaving school and live a full life. In this sense, learning to learn, as well as improving emotional intelligence, resilience and character, are crucial parts of my tutorials.

When I am not working, I greatly enjoy travelling abroad with family and friends, staying fit in the gym, as well as reading and writing about current affairs.
