How our Computer Science Tutoring Works
Keystone Tutors represents a large team of passionate and experienced Computer Science tutors who have experience of teaching Computer Science across the age spectrum from 11 years old up to undergraduate level. We can provide Computer Science tuition tailored to specific exams, from GCSE & IGCSE Computer Science to A Level and IB and university admissions tests for Computer Science including the TMUA. Many of the Computer Science tutors we match with students are current or former teachers and have studied Computer Science at top universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
All tutoring is tailored to the individual needs of each child based on their strengths, areas of development, learning style and their subject exam board.
We can help to improve exam performance by making use of past Computer Science papers, reinforcing core learning, developing revision techniques, and helping students to push the boundaries of their knowledge of Computer Science through super curricular learning. During the first session the tutor starts by assessing where the child is at, their academic ability, their strengths and perceived weaknesses. Tutors will then devise a programme tailored to the specific circumstances of the student and their exam board.

We offer the following levels for Computer Science tuition:
We have a monthly reporting system which is used to update parents on an ongoing basis. The monthly report details:
- the focus of that month’s tutoring
- the form of assessment used
- the student's achievements and areas for further work
- the focus for the coming month
The regular, rigorous reporting of the tutors we represent is frequently commended by parents.
The Computer Science tutors we represent are able to deliver in-person tuition within central London. For those outside of central London we offer online tutoring.
The Computer Science tutors we represent are well versed in delivering online tuition, using videoconferencing and an interactive whiteboard.
