Why Parents come to Keystone for IGCSE Tuition
There is not a one size fits all approach to our IGCSE tutoring. What works for some children might not work for others, so our tutoring begins with an informal tutor led academic assessment. Along with a child’s academic aims, we use the results from this assessment to identify suggested areas to focus on within each tutoring session.

- Building subject confidence: Our tutoring provides students with the tools to succeed in their IGCSE exams. Individualised attention, tailored to the needs of each child, our tutoring can address specific learning needs and particular areas of development, filling in learning gaps and building subject confidence.
- Exam preparation: Our tutors can help children develop study and exam skills in the lead up to their exams. During the first session the tutor starts by assessing where the child is at, their academic ability, their strengths and perceived weaknesses. Tutors will then devise a programme tailored to the specific circumstances of the student and their IGCSE exam board.

We have a monthly reporting system which is used to update parents on an ongoing basis. The monthly report details:
- the focus of that month’s tutoring
- the form of assessment used
- the student's achievements and areas for further work
- the focus for the coming month
The regular, rigorous reporting of the tutors we represent is frequently commended by parents.
The IGCSE tutors we represent are able to deliver in-person tuition within central London. For those outside of central London we offer online tutoring.
The tutors we represent are well versed in delivering online tuition, using videoconferencing and an interactive whiteboard. This gives students, wherever they are in the world, access to experienced, high quality tutors who are familiar with the requirements of the IGCSE exams.
Yes, we offer a trial lesson. With Keystone, you are not required to sign up for any minimum number of lessons, and we offer one-off paid trial lessons so that your child can determine if the fit is right for them. This allows students and parents tutoring through Keystone before committing to regular sessions. The trial lesson is charged at the tutor’s full hourly rate and there is no obligation to continue if you feel it's not the right match.
